The art of
pressing
play.
A music machine that makes listening feel like an event again.
Real cassette transport. Moving VU needles. A screen that follows the sound. A walnut library that keeps the collection in view.

MODEL 001 / Cassette
The whole
ritual,
in one place.
Choose a tape. Slide its case into “Now Playing.” Press the orange key. Watch the machine answer the music.

A little
light.
A lot of
feeling.
The tape turns. The meters move. Green light traces the music across the screen. Even from across the room, you can tell something is playing.
The music
is the player.
Choose a classic visualizer or a retro arcade scene. The beat and sound drive the action on the screen. Characters move, objects react, and scores change as the music plays. You choose the scene; the song does the playing.
Each score records what happened during that listen. There are no game controls or high-score challenges.
Launch the 33-mode demo ↗Green phosphor is the default; amber is optional. Load your own MP3 in the demo to see the scenes react.Wave
Made to
be touched.
The small moments are the point: a key with weight, a needle that moves, a case that has a place to live.

Tap the pictured controls. The product interaction and sounds are a concept preview.
Try PLAY, STOP, REW, FF, the tape door, volume, power, or the blue cassette case. The VU meter reacts when the tape plays.
Press play
Chunky transport keys make the first second of a song feel deliberate.
Watch the level
Warm backlit meters turn a changing signal into a familiar movement.
Find your volume
A machined control sits where your hand expects it.

The library keeps the music visible between listens.
Three ways
to play.
One design language, built around three physical formats. MODEL 001 is the first prototype focus; the others are proposals.
The next

shape.
JEvans Hi-Fi is in prototype development. The images show the direction: tactile media, music-reactive light, and a machine worth making room for.
These are design concept renders, not photographs of a finished product. Cabinet dimensions, mechanisms, controls, and production details remain subject to engineering and testing.
